There's a very, very special place . . .
Lovingly called . . .
Gollywood.
It's a rare little town that people go . . .
When they wanna escape . . .
Hollywood.
Now . . .
The reason people like Gollywood so much . . .
Is 'cause the folks in Gollywood . . .
Pride themselves on being so darn nice . . .
On being nice to almost everyone (almost) . . .
And even being nice to weird family members and friends who call late at night . . .
And even being nice to nosy neighbors . . .
And . . .
Um . . .
Even being sorta (kinda) nice to wannbe newcomers who've just migrated to town.
Y'know, it doesn't matter if you're famous or not (well, maybe just a little bit) . . .
But anyway . . .
You don't have to have your picture on a magazine cover . . .
(Of course, it helps) . . .
'Cause everyone is special in Gollywood.
You can always find a friendly smile (most of the time) . . .
A warm conversation . . .
A caring soul (if you really look) . . .
In the place they call Gollywood . . .
In the place that people love so much (on the sunny days) . . .
'Cause it ain't . . .
Hollywood.
Yeah, even the dogs are extra sweet in Gollywood.
Well . . .
Most of 'em (there are a few blue meanies).
Or maybe . . .
Most of the lovable mutts -- just seem . . .
Sorta . . .
Nice . . .
'Cause their owners live in . . .
Gollywood.
Hey, honest. It's true.
A lot of Gollywood dogs . . .
Will jump up . . .
And lick the face of a newcomer . . .
Even without a formal introduction.
But that's why people like Gollywood so much. It's just a very, very, very special place.
And, um, trying to figure out why it's such a special place . . .
Is . . .
Well . . .
Sorta hard.
Maybe it's 'cause there's so many wonderfully tall trees in Gollywood.
Of course, there's not much traffic, really . . .
'Cause folks like to walk to where they wanna go . . .
And ride their mountain bikes . . .
And take the bike-friendly buses.
Oh, gosh.
